Duration of the Exam : 90 Minutes
Mode of Exam : Computer Based Test (CBT) held at various cities across the country.

Chemistry: 25 questions
English: 5 questions
Marks: 3 (three) marks are awarded for each correct answer and -1 (minus one) for each wrong answer.
How to Apply
Interested candidates can login to the official admission portal, https://aee.amrita.edu, to submit their application online. To submit the application form, candidates must fill out personal information and academic profile. Candidates must select one of AEEE 2025, JEE Mains while deciding on the mode of admissions. Select the exam centre, date, and slot information if you’ve chosen AEEE 2025.
Eligibility
Candidates desirous of joining Amrita B.Tech. programs shall satisfy the following eligibility & criteria before the commencement of classes.
Age: Candidates born on or after 1st July, 2004.
Educational Qualification: A pass in 12th class or equivalent from a recognized board with not less than 55% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics separately and an aggregate minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. Candidates passing out in 2025 and passed out in 2024 can apply.

The beginnings of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, one of the top ranked deemed university, can be traced back to 1994 when a School of Engineering was established in an obscure village named Ettimadai, situated at the foothills of the Bouluvanpatty ranges of the Western Ghats in the Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu. During that time, there were 120 students and 13 faculty members. Today, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has expanded to five campuses located in three different states of India. Is lateral entry available for Diploma candidates?
No, there is no lateral entry admission for the B.Tech program.

No, AEEE is not mandatory. JEE Main scores will also be considered for B.Tech admission.
What is the syllabus and question pattern for AEEE?
The questions (MCQs) will be based on the State Board of Higher Secondary Education and the CBSE syllabus.

What ID proof is needed in addition to the E-admit card?
You can provide your Aadhaar card, Driving License, PAN card, Passport, Voter ID card, or School ID card as original proof.
What are the eligibility criteria for B.Tech admission?
Candidates must pass the 10+2 (Class XII) exam or its equivalent with a minimum 60% aggregate in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry, and not less than 55% in each subject. Age: Candidates born on or after July 1, 2004.
When can I get my AEEE ranking?
After each AEEE phase, your performance will be shown in percentile. The final rank is published after all phases, and the best percentile is considered for assigning the rank.
When will the CSAP process begin?
Applicants can apply for seat allotment after the AEEE rank declaration. A CSAP registration link will be sent to applicants. They can list up to 41 preferences of branch and campus combinations.
What is the counselling fee?
The counselling fee for CSAP registration is INR 5000.

Yes, the fee is refundable only if none of the preferred branches are allotted until the end of CSAP.
